Experience in Milton

• It has been my honor to serve on the School Committee for the past three years. I engaged in discussions in the Policy Subcommittee and Curriculum Subcommittee, meetings with High School Representatives, and participated in the Milton Foundation for Education monthly meetings.
• My proudest moments serving as a School Committee member in my last term were being able to share my views on challenging and controversial topics such as the holidays off on the school calendar and the curriculum discussions related to better educational outcomes for students of all levels.
• I believe that everyone is born with a kind heart and curious mindset, thus I co-founded the Milton Mosaic group and Milton Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Neighbors Group. With the support of the community members, we hosted various cultural celebrations throughout the year, including the annual Moon Festival and Lunar New Year celebration.

Experience in Education

With over 15 years of experience in education, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our schools. I have taught in all school settings, from public to private, higher education to primary and secondary, and have experience with both in-person and online teaching. I have served as a teacher, mentor, and leader in both urban and rural settings, and have seen firsthand the impact that a quality education can have on students' lives. I have a proven track record of success in implementing innovative programs that improve academic achievement and create inclusive and equitable learning environments. My diverse background and experience in education, coupled with my passion for helping students succeed, makes me the ideal candidate to serve on the school committee.
